Cllr Sarah King, Leader of Southwark Labour, said:
“Councillor Corn and her Green-Lib Dem coalition colleagues should be ashamed of the fear and anxiety they have caused families across our borough.
Their first two decisions leading this borough were to cut mental health support for children and an advice service for people living with dementia.
Then a few days later, after families have been told to make do and staff have been told to find work elsewhere, the Greens have woken up to the reality of their decisions.
The chaos they have caused is unforgivable and for that Cllr Corn should apologise.
Thankfully children with mental health needs and families supporting those with dementia will once again receive the vital support they have done for years under Southwark Labour.”
